VKNRL School of Nursing, Numaligarh celebrated the 72nd Independence Day on 15th August 2018.  The Programme was hosted by Smt. Nishita Dutta, Faculty, VKNRL School of Nursing. Smt. Nani Daflary,  Principal, VKNRL School of Nursing unfurled the National flag which was followed by National Anthem “Jana Gana Mana Adhi” Soldiers Patriots and all those who were involved in the process of making our country Independence, they were remembered and homage to all the Security Cadre present in the Campus of VKNRL School of Nursing with a Phulam Gamusa.

 

Principal, VKNRL School of Nursing, highlighted the significance of the Celebration of Independence Day and encouraged all members present in the occasion for the HEALTHY NATION BUILDING. Smt. Pankhi Rani Borah, Faculty, VKNRL School of Nursing enlightened the Programme by recapitalizing the struggle of the Great Freedom Fighters who sacrificed their lives for the Nation which is followed by a patriotic song by the students.

 

 

The Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of Assam Sjt. Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated VKNRL School of Nursing on 14th July 2018. Along with the Chief Minister other dignitaries Sjt. Atul Bora , Minister of Agriculture, Horticulture and food processing, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary and Town and Country Planning; Sjt. Keshav Mahanta, Minister of Water Resources, Science and Technology Culture  Affairs (only Library and Archaeology Matters); Smt. Roselina Tirkey, MLA of Sarupathar, Golaghat; Sjt. SK Barua, Managing Director, NRL; Sjt. B.J. Phukan, Director (Technical), NRL; District Authorities, Senior Officials of NRL, Adhikaries of  Vivekananda Kendra and a host of invitees and distinguished guests have graced the programme  with their presence .

 

 

 

VKNRL School of Nursing, Numaligarh observed Guru Purnima on 27th of July, 2018.  The Programme was hosted by Ms. Pritisikha Dutta, Librarian, VKNRL School of Nursing. It was initiated by Tin Om Kar and Mangalcharanam followed by Motivational Speech by Principal, VKNRL School of Nursing.

 

 

 

VKNRL School of Nursing organized “Capping and Oath taking Ceremony” of 1st batch of GNM students on 03/04/2018. Mrs Catherine Kujur, Faculty, VKNRL School of Nursing hosted the programme. On the occasion members present on the dais were Prof. Kabul Ch. Saikia, Medical Director, Vivekananda Kendra NRL Hospital & Member Governing Body as a Chief Guest, Dr. Sovarani Sharma Borkotoky, Chairperson LMC as a Guest of Honour, Mr. Indraneel Mitra, CGM (Finance) NRL, Mr. Nikunja Borthakur, CGM(Technical) NRL and Ms. Nani Daflary, Principal, VKNRL School of Nursing respectively. To grace the occasion officers from NRL, Vivekananda Kendra Adhikaris and Guardians of the students were also present. The programme was initiated with welcome address by Principal, VKNRL School of Nursing, followed by lamp lighting and Mangalacharanam presented by the faculties of VKNRL School of Nursing.
